Gobles’ Myan DeHaan earns 100th career win

    Gobles downed Lawrence, 51-18, and Galesburg, 41-24, to close out the SAC dual schedule.  Tiger wrestlers finished the SAC schedule at 7-3.  
    Freshman Jackson Rumery and senior Isaiah Smith both scored a pair of pins on the night to lead the effort.
    Gobles finished fourth out of 13 teams, scoring 113 points at the Quincy tournament. Coloma won it with 131 points.   
    Myan DeHaan (112) won his first career championship while earning his 100th career victory to lead the day.  Isaiah Smith (130), and Mike Myers (152) finished second, while Jackson Rumery (119) was third, and Jacob Bardocz (145) and Lucas Aspinwall (215) finished fourth in their weight classes.
    Gobles closed out the regular schedule of dual meets at Niles Brandywine, defeating Buchanan 60-6, Brandywine 39-36, and Marcellus 48-36.  
    Myan DeHaan, Isaiah Smith, freshman Hunter Underwood, Jacob Bardocz, Mike Myers, and Lucas Aspinwall all went 3-0 on the day.  Underwood led the charge with three first period pins for the Tigers.
    Gobles wrestlers are now 21-7 on the season, their most wins in a season since the 2004-05 campaign.
