Reds finish strong at Invitational

    Dowagiac - On a day that felt more like December than early October, Paw Paw’s cross country teams ran at the Rock and Run Invitational last Thursday.   Competing against a strong field, the boys finished sixth of the 12 teams in attendance, with Jonah Maichele earning sixth place with his best time of the year, 17:02.  
    The Lady Redskins came in a strong second in a field of 10, with Molly Thompson earning the runner-up spot, crossing the line in 19:56. Hannah Richmond celebrated her return to, good for fifth place. Anna Glomski finished 10th at 21:09, and Ellie Marger, 15th, in 21:36.


    Martin - Both of Paw Paw's cross country teams have suffered from several injuries this season, and the league meet Tuesday was no different, with the top runner for the girls program Molly Thompson unable to perform.  Hannah Richmond was  the first Lady Redskin over the finish line in eight place with a 20:28.24 clocking. The girls came in sixth out of nine teams competing.  Jonah Maichele took 10th place in the boys part of the day at 17:47.33.  His team  was ninth of the 10 teams racing for the boys.
