Diabetes PATH workshop to be offered in Paw Paw

   Region IV Area Agency on Aging will offer a Diabetes PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) Workshop in Paw Paw, beginning October 17.
   Diabetes PATH is a Chronic Disease Self-Management Program that was developed and tested by Stanford University. The workshop is a six-week program that teaches practical skills for living a healthy life with diabetes. The focus is on self-care, learning new coping strategies and sharing personal experiences.
   The workshop is scheduled to meet every Thursday at the Senior Services of Van Buren County senior center at Freshwater Community Church, 600 E. Michigan Avenue, in Paw Paw. It will be held October 17 through November 21, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
   The class is free; though donations are gratefully accepted. Family members, friends and caregivers are also encouraged to attend. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
