Historical Museum is busy in July

    HARTFORD - The Van Buren County Historical Museum, 58471 Red Arrow Highway, Hartford, has  lined up several Sunday Speakers for this month and August.
    On July 14, at 2 p.m., the museum, located next the the Van Buren Youth fairgrounds, will host Jerry Kerns as he talks about Van Buren County railroads; July 21, Steve Rossio will talk about World War I.
    The series continues Aug 11, at 2 p.m., with Tyler Sleep and Van Buren County police agencies.
    The museum will hold a salad and dessert supper, July 26, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with a free-will donation.
    On Aug. 24, Paw Paw Brewing Co. will host a museum fundraiser at their new location, the former Frank Warren Cannery on Gremps Street, Paw Paw.
    The museum will also hold a Murder Mystery, Aug. 25.

    Museum hours are Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for ages 12 and up, and $2 for ages 5-11.
