Museum is Open!
The Van Buren County Museum is officially open, with a variety of events and special guest speakers scheduled for the season.
On June 30 a presentation on The Polar Bears of World War 1 will be held at 2 p.m. A number of Van Buren County men served in this special unit during the war.
The museum is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, call (1 (269) 621-2188.
Wednesdays are archival day. By calling ahead for an appointment, museum volunteers will help individuals search to find information about their family or town. There is a small fee for this service.
Museum admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children, ages 5-12. Veterans and current military, plus their immediate families will be admitted free with ID.
