This month, Van Buren Regional Genealo-gical Society welcomes back Karen Krugman, on Monday, June 24, at 7 p.m. at the Van Buren Conference Center, 490 S. Paw Paw Street, Lawrence. Krugman has been researching since 1990, and professionally since 1998. Her experience in genealogy includes positions on the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research, Registrar of the Michigan UDC chapter, past president of the Ford Genealogy Club, and member of the Oakland Genealogy Society, as well as serving as a volunteer at the Library of Michigan.
Krugman has written five books and is co-author of The Ford Cemetery, which includes photos and other information on the cemetery where auto pioneer Henry Ford is buried.
“Krugman is a favored speaker of our society and brings with her a wealth of knowledge,” said Jeff Fisher, VBRGS vice-president/program chair. “Her unique blend of humor, knowledge, and experience never disappoints.”
