Lawton Lions Club to hold annual Yard Sale

    LAWTON - The Lawton Lions Club will be holding its annual Yard Sale on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 326 S. Main Street, in Lawton. The sale will include home and holiday decor, household items, books, children's toys, and more.
    Profits from the sale will be used to support the 2020 Lawton Summerfest ($500), and the Lions' other community projects, such as Boy Scout Troop 172, Students of the Semester, DDA flower pots, refreshments for local blood drives,  Christmas in the Village parade, Christmas food baskets, eye exams and glasses, Lawton Education Foundation's "Follow Your Dream" scholarships, large print books for the Lawton Public Library, the annual Thanksgiving dinner, two graduating senior scholarships, and the use of the Lawton Community Center by non-profit organizations.
    The Heritage Museum will also be participating in the sale and will have a vast range of antique and collectible farm tools and household items for sale.
