Local veterans to take next Honor Flight to D.C.

    Two area veterans have been selected to take part in the 18th Talons Out Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Nov. 2.
    The two men, Ivan Olsen, a Vietnam War veteran, of Paw Paw, and Paul Siskaninetz,  Lawton, a Korean War veteran, are  among the many veterans who have been selected to fly out of Kalamazoo Battle Creek International Airport  Saturday morning, and arrive  at Ronald Regan National Airport, Washington D.C., where  they will spend the day in the nation’s capital, traveling to the monuments  that honor their service during World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam wars.
    The Talons Out Honor flights began in 2013.
