“Paul McCormack’s Classroom Critters” come to Bloomingdale
   BLOOMINGDALE- Summer Reading Program “A Universe of Stories” has officially kicked off!
   At 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, “Paul McCormack’s Classroom Critters” visit for a furastic time! Everyone enjoys the close-up and interactive style of Classroom Critters, which not only teaches fascinating facts about a variety of small animals and their habitats, children also will be able to meet and greet them.
   Arrive on time for an extra book buck token.

Gladius and Aliens bring music, art to Bloomingdale
   BLOOMINGDALE - The library is not just a place to read books. Check out these fun family events at the VBDL Bloomingdale Branch!
   Join us at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 20 for Gladius in Concert, sponsored by the Bloomingdale Friends of the Library Group. Bring your blanket and enjoy beautifully unique music on acoustic and electric guitars, composed and performed by Gladius. His story is a tribute to perseverance and overcoming adversity. The public is invited to come and be inspired by his story and his music!
   Aliens have taken over the library! Patrons are invited for Alien Artwork at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 23. Follow along with a pattern and/or use your imagination to create a one-of-a-kind piece of alien art. The sky’s the limit - but earthly space is limited, so registration is required!
