This year’s Hunger Walk will be held Sunday, April 28, beginning at 2 p.m. from the Paw Paw United Methodist Church.
The CROP Hunger Walk was the original fundraising Walk in the United States in 1969. Eastern Van Buren County will mark its 37th year, having first started in 1983 with 104 walkers, who raised $3,465. Last year, 155 walkers collected $17,852. A quarter of all money collected from the walk will come back to Van Buren County and be divided among six eastern Van Buren County food pantries.
