Mattawan Council approves computer purchase

    MATTAWAN -  Citing recent Village of Mattawan office computer downtime,  Monday, Oct. 14, the Mattawan Village Council approved the purchase of a new village  office server from ITRight for $4,946.30. Village Manager Terri McLean said the current server “is too old. None of us could do anything during a recent downtime.”
    The council also approved:
    •The purchase of a new pickup truck and plow for $39,796. The vehicle will replace a 2008 truck;
    •A bid of  $12,294.04 from PK Contracting for center line striping.
    •The  purchase of  liquid de-icer from Road Solutions for $3,596.30.
