Mattawan Council approves site plan for 140-home subdivision

    MATTAWAN - The Mattawan Village Council at their March 10 meeting, approved a residential site condominium  for home builder Allen Edwin’s Concord Farms.
    According to Mattawan Village Manager Terri McLean, the new subdivision, which calls for 140 new homes, will be located on Front Avenue, east of the Mattawan Little League complex.
    Also, the council accepted the resignation of Mattawan Village Planning Commission member Pat Intindola. Letters of interest to fill the position may be sent to the Mattawan Village Hall.
    The council is also  accepting  a bid from Republic Waste Service  for Village Clean-Up Day, May 16.
    Village residents are asked to have their items to the curbside  by 7 a.m. that day.
    A detailed letter stating what will be picked up, will be sent out with the monthly village water bills, according to McLean.
