LAWTON - The Lawton boys soccer team hosted Comstock for an early season non-conference game. A quick goal by the Colts turned out to be the difference in the game, for though the Blue Devils were able to keep their visitors from scoring again, they did not score themselves and were left with a narrow 1-0 loss.
The Blue Devils showed great strength on offense for the majority of the game, keeping the pressure on the Colts.  The team worked very well together to advance the ball, willing to pass the ball to each other.  The Lawton defense stood tall after the Colts’ initial goal and kept them from adding to their tally.
