Martha Pugsley DeRoos

Put a loving memory in your thoughts to say good-bye to Marty DeRoos (Mar-tha Pugsley), who was a friend to many.
Marty was born in Paw Paw, and grew up on a family-run fruit farm. In her mid-twenties she packed everything up in her car and drove to Los Angeles, CA, where she was hired as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines. She ended up being a flight attendant for over 40 years and enjoyed traveling the world, especially England, Australia, New Zealand and her favorite place, Hawaii.
She was a huge Elvis Presley and Denver Broncos fan, bridge player, theater goer, and in her later years, organized retired flight attendant luncheons.
Marty will mostly be remembered as a loyal friend to many, a fun aunt to Sally Pugsley-Brinkman, Will, and Ric Pugsley, Maryjo Adams-Cochran and Rob Adams, and all their extended families; a great little sister to Mary Pugsley-Adams and Fred Pugsley; a loving mom to Suzy and Chris; and “Mimi” to her much adored grand-children, Katey and JT.
A private service will be held at a later date per Marty’s wishes in Hawaii. In lieu of flowers, you can place a donation to her favorite pet adoption charity, The Denver Dumb Friends League.
