To the Editor,
    The Lawton Lions Club would like to thank everyone who attended our first-ever Lawton Lions Beerfest on Sunday, October 20. All proceeds raised will be used to fund Lions’ programs and events, including various scholarships, donations and use of the Lawton Community Center by several non-profit groups.  
    Special thanks to all of our sponsors and vendors:  Barn Brewers, Big T, St. Julian Winery, Modern Woodmen/Lee Moser, Steensma Lawn & Power Equip., Tapper Auto Group, Honee Bear, Ray & Marge Reid, Adams Hardware, Lawson Oil Co., Hurley & Stewart, Stermer Farms, Scott Trucking Service, Garcia Martinez Insurance, Stermer Builders, Ag Resource Management, Paw Paw Brewing, Sister Lakes Brewing, Three Blondes Brewing, Peat’s Original Cider, Final Gravity, Harbor Light Brewery, Great Mead Hall and Make It Van Buren Craft Beer Beverage Coalition.

Dear readers,
    Please join us for a great day of doing some early Christmas shopping and supporting the local vendors and many homemade crafters at our Paw Paw Grad Bash 2020 Craft and Vendor Event, Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Paw Paw High School, 30609 Red Arrow Hwy., Paw Paw. Here are some of the amazing vendors and crafters that we will have for you to shop: Hempworx, Norwax, Essential Oils, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Color Street Nails, Paparazzi, Pink Zebra, Lipsense, Tupperware, Tastefully Simple, Mary Kay, Lularoe and many more.
    You’ll also find homemade goodies, Gluten Free Bakery, woodworking, wreaths, custom one-of-kind jewelry, ornaments, bath salts, pet items, baby items and other specialties.
    For admission to the show, please bring an item from the list below to be donated to our local food pantry, Eleanor’s Pantry.  Examples of items they are in need of coming up on the holiday season are: diapers, laundry soap, toilet tissue, dish soap, canned goods, canned meat (tuna, chicken, etc.). Prepared meals (hamburger helper, Mac and Cheese, etc.),
soup, cereal, and canned pasta.
    Thank you for supporting not only Grad Bash 2020, but all these amazing local crafters and vendors. Let’s start this amazing tradition right here in our hometown.
