Four Redskins receive Wolverine All-Conference baseball nods

   The Paw Paw Redskin baseball had an outstanding and record-breaking season in 2019, and the Wolverine Conference has acknowledged this by naming four players to the various all-conference honor squads.  
   Zack Callahan is a member of the First Team, having posted a .395 batting average with 34 hits and 16 runs driven in.  Beside his conference recognition, Callahan also made the Academic All-State Team.
   Jack Westerhoff  was also a First Team conference selection, who excelled on the pitcher’s mound,  leading the pitching staff with a 7-1 win-loss mark and striking out 60 batters in 49 innings of work, while posting an excellent 1.26 earned run average.
   Caleb Schmitt was a Second Team choice, thanks to a .388 batting average, on 34 hits and a team best 21 runners chased over home plate. Schmitt also had five wins on the mound.
   Devon Surdy was selected to the Honorable Mention Team for his excellence as a lead-off batter, scoring 28 runs on 32 hits for a .352 average.
