Tigers lose two in their own weekend tourney

   The Gobles baseball team hosted Paw Paw, Plainwell and Union City for a tournament on Saturday.
   In the first game, with Paw Paw, Gobles fell behind early, and eventually lost, 4-2. The Tigers had trouble with the Paw Paw pitching and managed only two hits in the contest, one apiece from Hunter Tenbusschen (DBL) and Alex Tyrell. 
   Jake Getman pitched 3.1 innings for Gobles, and Caleb Brady took over for 1.2 innings.
   The Tigers’ second game, against Union City, didn’t go much better. Gobles fell behind quickly and could not bounce back, losing 10-2.     
   Getman and Brady each had a hit in the game, while the Tigers used four pitchers. Brady pitched for 1.1 innings, Hunter Tenbus-schen, 1.2; Gabe Miller, 1.2, and Josh Lopez, 1.1 innings.
