The Lady Blue Devils traveled to Kalamazoo for a battle with the K-Christian Comets, but struggled right from the start, and lost 59-16.
The Lawton girls found the hoop just three times in the first quarter, while Christian scored 13 points. The Blue Devils played with heart, but had a hard time converting their shots into points. By halftime, the Lady Devils were already down 27-8.
In the second half, the Blue Devils kept driving and showed no signs of being quitters.  But the lid remained securely over the hoop, limiting them to scoring just eight points in the entire second half.
The leading scorer for the Devils was Megan Dopheide with nine, followed by Kiana Auton, who put in four.
