Two members of the Paw Paw boys basketball team have been awarded spots on the Wolverine Conference 2018-19 honor teams.
Senior Karsen Barnhart made the All-Conference First Team, and sophomore Finlay Tate was selected for the Honorable Mention squad.
Barnhart had a dominating season, averaging over 16 points and 16 rebounds a game. He added his name to the school record books, too, ending in second place in career rebounds behind Ed Dow, and third in single season rebounds behind Dow and Cornell Gordon, who were teammates in the 1970s.
Barnhart also ended up in 17th place in both season and career scoring, one point behind Barry Smith in career points, and one point behind Kelly Smith for a season.
Sophomore Tate provided an outside threat all season long, averaging 11.5 points per outing, including 45 three point goals, which placed him in tie for eighth place in single season triples with Sean Brennan, one behind Nick Klingel.
Paw Paw junior Katie Marger has been named to the Wolverine Conference Honorable Mention girls basketball team for the 2018-19 season.  Marger and her twin sister, Ellie, transferred to Paw Paw from Sault Ste. Marie last summer, and started this season with the Lady Redskins. Katie led the team in scoring, was second in steals, second in rebounds, and second in assists.
