Both Paw Paw bowling teams maintained perfect records in LSWMHSB action last Saturday against the Knights of Kalamazoo Loy Norrix. Ethan Vanderslik’s 243 effort highlighted the boys’ 21-9 victory. Xander Craddock and Gavin Engle scored well, too, with games of 183 and 182, respectively.
Sierra Dooley led the ladies with a 191 line enroute to a 23-7 triumph.
Both teams now stand in first place with 5-0 league records to date, while the girls team was included this week in the state’s Top 10, coming in at No. 4 in Division 3.

Thursday at South Haven, Paw Paw’s girls absorbed their first loss in 11 outings, and 18-12 defeat by the Lady Rams in a close and highly contested match-up.  Emily Vanderburg was right on target with games of 211 and 210.  Taryn Welling added a 167, followed by Dooley with a 152 line.
The Redskin boys saw their overall record rise to 9-2 with a 26-4 win over the Rams.  Michael Hiesand topped Paw Paw scoring with a 225 game, followed by Vanderslik with a 199, and a 177 game total from Zachary Dooley.
