Gobles falters in second half to lose to Saugatuck

   The Gobles football team hosted Saugatuck last Friday night. The Tigers and the Indians battled it out in the first half with each team kicking a field goal for the 3-3 tie at halftime.
   The Tigers struggled to stop Saugatuck in the second half, giving up 28 unanswered points for the final score of Saugatuck 31, Gobles 3.
   “It was a tough loss,” said Gobles Coach Thad Schafer. “We will get back to work and continue to have high expectations of each other.”
   Saugatuck had 381 total yards. Gobles stats were not available.
