On a cold, windy Monday afternoon at the Lake Michigan Hills golf course in Coloma, the Gobles golf team  won the Southwestern Athletic Conference Lakeshore Division title.
“Despite this being our worst round of the year, our goal was to finish third or better to win the conference,” said Gobles’ first-year Coach Ty Rock. “We had a lot of struggles today; this wasn’t the situation that we all had envisioned, but we accomplished our goal.
“We have a busy week ahead and need to get back to practice and be ready for the conference meet and prepare for upcoming regional's." said Gobles Coach Ty Rock. For the Tigers senior Jack Adams shot at 52, Ethan Carlson 62, Hunter Thrasher 64, Grace Moyer 65 and Ryan Smalley 74.  Gobles placed second with a 243, behind Saugatuck at 218.
