The Redskin boys tennis team had  a very good weekend at the Michigan State Finals ended last Saturday. The team finished in 19th place and garnered several individual honors.
No. 1 singles player Corentin Zircot, and the first doubles team of Cameron Walker and David Heidema were all named members of the Division 4 All-State Honorable Mention team.
Coach Matt Baleja received the Division 4 State Coach of the Year award. This season, his team won the Regional trophy for the second time in three years.
This was Paw Paw’s sixth trip to the State Finals in seven seasons. Last year, the Redskins were moved up to Division 3 where they finished fifth in the state against a very strong field.
