Lawton’s Zack Menck is No. 2 at State matches

	Lawton junior Zack Menck finished the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s State Individual Wrestling Tournament as the second-best grappler at 152 lbs. His teammates Dylan Am and Jason Craig also brought home medals from the event.

 The Lawton varsity wrestlers represented their community well  on Saturday with four state qualifiers in competition at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Each of the Blue Devils logged at least one victory, and three of the four earned All-State honors.

With a combined record of 10-7 over the weekend, the Blue Devils made their presence felt against the top competition in the state of Michigan.

The All-State wrestlers included state champion runner-up junior Zack Menck (152 lbs.); sophomore Dylan Amm, fourth place (119 lbs.), and senior Jason Craig, seventh place (215 lbs.). State qualifier junior Lance Northrop (135 lbs.) was also able to notch a victory during his first trip to the Palace.
